Practical guidance for applicants, institutions and decision-makers who need a clear, evidence-based verification process.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n

International Use & Institutional Decisions<\/strong> concerns cross-border presentation of verified records while recognising that receiving authorities make their own decisions. Verification should describe what evidence was checked, what source supported the conclusion, what limitations remain and the date or context to which the result applies. A verification result is evidence for a decision-maker; it does not replace the legal authority, admissions office, employer, regulator, licensing board, ministry or other receiving institution that makes the final decision.<\/p>\n

Status can change<\/h2>\n

Membership, company standing, employment, registration and other status-based facts may change after a report is issued. A previous result should not be treated as permanently current.<\/p>\n

Revalidation should target changeable facts<\/h2>\n

A recheck is most useful when the underlying information can expire, be revoked, be amended or receive a later official update.<\/p>\n

Record the effective date<\/h2>\n

Every status-sensitive verification should make clear when the source was checked. This helps a receiving institution decide whether a fresh check is necessary.<\/p>\n

Evidence and decision boundaries<\/h2>\n

EIFVS can document what was checked and what the available evidence supports. It cannot bind an external university, employer, regulator, ministry, court, licensing authority or other institution. If a specific destination requires a particular legalisation, apostille, equivalence assessment, translation, licensing step or direct institutional transmission, confirm that requirement with the receiving body.<\/p>\n
